Germans take up Sinai trafficking
Germany's parliament has taken on debating human trafficking in Sinai in part due to CNN reporting from the region.
German MP Annette Groth says it is time for Berlin to use its economic power to pressure Egyptian authorities.
Human rights groups estimate that thousands of African migrants have perished trying to make it to Israel via the Sinai.
In two documentaries over two years CNN's Fred Pleitgen visited the Sinai to expose the traffickers and grim evidence of organ harvesting.
'Death in The Desert' - which was first published online in November 2011 and broadcast on CNN International on November 5, showed evidence that African refugees, mostly from Sudan and Eritrea, were being held captive by Bedouin human traffickers in Sinai, who try to extort massive sums of money from the refugees’ families for their release.
Shortly after the documentary aired, hundreds of African refugees were released from captivity in the Sinai Peninsula and allowed to cross from Egypt into Israel.
In 2012 'Stand in the Sinai' showed how different groups - including Bedouins, aid workers and former refugees - were fighting the traffickers.

I find this story impossible to believe; because. Israrl's border with Sinai is fortified and patroled over its entire length. It would be almost impossible to get across. There is barbed ribbon (wire), motion sensors, lookouts with night vision equipment and binoculars, a plowed strip that leaves footprints, foot vehicle and helicopter patrols. The guards will shoot and call in artillery.
The entire artical sounds faked.

Why do I have to call Issam,
“ a poor Darfur- El-Arish, Sudanese young victim”,
while he has such a beautiful mother-given name?
So wonderful his name was,
that he got it printed on a beautifully colored Id-card;
which he thought would guarantee him the “Promised Land”,
That damn Id-Card…!
He believed was worth all the money they had;
even all the penny from neighbors and families mom had borrowed;
swearing that she would pay them in a month or two,
once Issam was on the other side,
of the crossing gate to the “promised land”,
as if wealth awaits him there; arm crossed.
Every time he thought of the precious item at hand,
that beast of a beautifully colored Id-Card,
not to mention the money, it swallowed,
Issam kept smiling, exposing all his dazzling teeth
no matter what!.
No! No sign of remorse or regret;
it would save him from “Darfur”; he was confident,
Darfur! The dark evil Island of the living dead!
Why do I have to call Issam,

Because the story I am going to tell you is somewhat “happysad”
for the happy dream ended up with gloom.
Forget about the expenses of Issam’s Id. Card
on which the duos have invested, a lot-
every last drop of their sweat and blood;
Someone, who hardly believed,
Issam was only a dreamer;
who couldn’t see any worth
at the place of his birth,
and lost the last penny he had
for an “unidentified dreamland”,
saw coming, an invader
and shot him merciless, with his revolver.
Addios young dreamer, Addios Issam!
Who is going to tell this to the “dreamer mom”?
Issam, fell down, visualizing mom hopelessly,
and the money…?
Which has just became an unbearable debt suddenly!
“What a mess!” Issam started confession
eyes filled with burning tears of submission
he said to himself- time to do an explanation;
he flung words, packed with blood and tears,
though with the dramatic pain he felt,
opening the mouth was unbelievably hard;
Nevertheless, with every drop of energy in him left,
he “loudly” whispered
right sufficient, to disappropriate silence.
He won; the words got carried
thanks to a kind wind,
they travelled so high and fast
that they ended up in everybody’s ears.
Wasn’t he powerful and “lucky”
to tell the world how hard and fast
a thirst for life could be satisfied,
Kind of swallowing life;
once and for all times sake?
Issam Abdulah, the Darfur dreamer,
Couldn’t make it to the “dream land”;
still, even lying in El-Arish’s bed,
he had power to get his voice recorded.
Wasn’t he one of the few who could whisper it loud?
Within the cemetery wall
along with the El-Arish, the “identified”;
or the poor refugee, z “ unknown” and the “without god”,
thanks to Al Azizi, a kind soul,
Issam the dreamer got a “dignified” burial.
His beautiful name is on a stone engraved,
ISSAM ABDULAH MOHAMMED,
no roses on it; some, his mom would have loved,
But cactus, a flower that befriends the desert, has popped up instead
Seems conscious enough, to make up for the wound.
The hero boy whose whisper had shouted loud
for the homeless nameless immigrants of human kind,
With or without a “dignified burial” and “god”;
Issam Abdulah has been laid.
It is a pity that he ended up at the finishing point;
Away from home, closer to his “dreamland”.
The unforeseen part was,
that he became a voice of the voiceless,
he whispered in his death bed,
of the misery the “Unidentified” ones had lived.
He did shout, yes he did;
and ended up his journey
sooooooooooooo… early,
in the cursed place which had swallowed many,
poor immigrants, rich with hopes and dreams but no penny.
