Study finds 'alarming' human trafficking figures in Mexico's capital

The discrepancy is an "alarming figure" that shows a need to improve laws and policies, according to a study on human trafficking and sexual exploitation from Mexico City's human rights commission, which calls the phenomenon a "new form of slavery."

"The authorities are not investigating, nor are they asking witnesses," said Eva Reyes, investigation coordinator at the Antonio de Montesinos Center for Social and Cultural Studies, one of the partners of the study.

Duh, Mexicans illegally invade the US and other criminal and corrupt actions in their own country and they are suprised about human trafficking, that really surprises me that there is that many gullible people around, then again it shouldn't.

I have seen this issue grow in alarming rates as well, especially as we have been working here on the ground to fight human trafficking and helping to rehabilitate victims.

Traffickers are basic low-life with sub-human stadards that they adhere too.Putting a dollar figure on human suffering is so-sick-its utterly disgusting and it should be punishable by very-long incarcerations that includes many ,many years untill one is old and grey.Equatable punishment-try it that way, too!

The mexicans have done it to themselves-looking for the easy-life in america with their pockets stuffed with american currency! In the end-run they are nothing more than the gringo with the bad-ass bandito atitude. Dont you realize that any thing that is good comes to-be through a long drawn-out process.Just do the right thing and you know exactly what i mean.
